Finalement, une bonne préparation psychologique et ça passe relativement vite. Heureusement qu'il y avait pas mal d'escales, sinon ça aurait été invivable.
Comment c'est l'Australie? Je pense qu'il est nécessaire de commencer une série de "False Facts about Australia" ("Faits Faux sur L'Australie" pour les plus non-anglophones):
• "False Fact about Australia #1: Il fait chaud et beau en Australie" -> Il pleut des trombes depuis plusieurs heures, y'a du vent, et il fait pas SI chaud que ça (19°C alors qu'on juste au début de l'automne...)
• "False Fact about Australia #2: L'Australie est peuplée d'Australiens" -> Quelle drôle d'idée... Les 3 premières personnes à qui on a parlé étaient libanais, hongrois, et [indéterminé à cause d'un accent trop prononcé].
Sinon, je peux pas dire des masses, on a passé une bonne parti de notre journée à dormir avec les Français, mais en Australie (c'est à dire de 9h à 16h) et du coup, on n'est pas énormément sorti (à cause de la pluie, sérieux...). On est resté quand même assez longtemps dans le taxi pour constater que l'Australie avait de drôle d'arbres. Ca fait presque région tropicale. Il y a des oiseaux assez étranges qui traversent la route et qui ressemblent à un croisement entre une autruche et un Kiwi. Le bruit de la faune locale est aussi pour le moins étrange. On a l'impression d'être dans un fond sonore de Jurassic Park, avec un tyrannosaure prêt à surgir au moindre instant. Probablement celui qui ne s'était pas caché dans la soute à bagages pour m'arracher une jambe [private joke].
Enfin bref, demain les choses vraiment sérieuses commencent : Recherche de colocation, ouverture d'un compte à la banque (je ne sais pas encore laquelle... la première que je croiserai probablement), et achat d'un téléphone portable local!

Well, actually, it was not THAT long with a good mental preparation. Thankfully I had many stopovers because this trip could have been a nightmare...
How is Australia? How to say. I think I should start a series of "False Facts about Australia":
• "False Fact about Australia #1 : It is hot and sunny in Australia" -> It's been raining cats and dogs since I arrived, it's windy outside, and it's not THAT hot (19°C in the beginning of autumn...)
• "False Fact about Australia #2 : Australia is populated with Australians" -> What a strange idea! The three first people I met in Australia were lebanese, hungarian and [undetermined because of an accent way too strong to be understandable].
Otherwise, I cannot say much about Australia, I spent a great part of the day sleep at the same time than the french, but in Australia (from 9am to 4pm). As a result, I haven't gone out much ('cause it was raining! Wtf!). We stayed long enough in the taxi to notice that there are weird trees in Australia. It looks like a tropical area. The birds are quite weird too and I saw some of them walking across the road, looking like a crossing between an ostrich and a kiwi. The noise of the local wildlife is also weird. It sounds like we have "Jurassic Park" as a sound background and a T-rex may show up at any moment.
Well, serious things start tomorrow: appartment share hunting, creation of a bank account (still don't know in which bank... Probably the first one I'll come across) and purchasing of a local mobile!
